01 December 2006 [10:55] - Today.Az- ( A.M.USA)
According to a report by Iran's state-run daily Jomhouri Islami, on November 27, Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader has threatened Baku, reminding this neighboring country, situated to the north of times that it used to be a part of Iran.

"There is no need for us to enter into this matter ourselves. All that is required is that our religious leaders speak of moral duties of the people in northern Iran and with no assistance, they will punish you," continued Khamanie his threats of terror toward Azerbaijan's statesmen.

Azerbaijan was acquired by Russia from Iran through the Treaty of Gulistan in 1813 and the Treaty of Turkamanchai in 1828.

While the country now celebrates its independence from Russia after two centuries, Iranian dreams of wining back this country should raise concerns and be taken seriously. Stop Fundamentalism
