06 01 27 - LOMBARDIA REGION VOTATION FOR ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

During the general assembly of the 24th January 2006 the Lombardia region in Italy which is one of the most important regions, has proposed and suscribed by all its executif members, as per attached document, that in occasion of the shoah which is the rememberance of the genocides day, should also be mentioned and remembered the genocide of a million and a half Armenians as it has been the first Genocide of the last century, considering that already in the past this region has also recognized the Armenian genocide and called Turkey to accept and recognized the massacre of 1915.

It will be fair for the all armenian communities to send messages to Lombardia regions thanking and congratulating them for this coragious decision.
