050209 Celebrazione della MEMORIA della 90° anniversario del GENOCIDIO

To the members of the Armenian Community

The year of 2005 is significant for Armenians all over the world as we commemorate the 90th anniversary of the genocide in 1915. On the 24th of April every Armenian, from child to old, from poor to rich, from Armenians in Armenia to Armenians in any part of the world, visit the memorial dedicated to the innocent victims and put a flower around the eternal flame. This year is going to be different from all the years before, as all Armenians are going to unite and show the world that though 90 years have passed we have not forgotten about the evil caused to our grandparents. Through this gesture we must make the world accept the fact of genocide in order to prevent such kind of cruel actions towards any nation in future. Moreover, we must show the world that despite everything Armenians have maintained their firm roots such as traditions, religion, culture, language and the proof of this is that in 2005 we are also celebrating the invention of the Armenian Alphabet by Mesrop Mashtots 1600 years ago..

If you want to be part of the mass of people walking to the Tsitsernakaberd Monument on the 24th of April, and, at the same time get acquainted with the four-millennia-old history of Armenia by visiting historical, cultural and religious sites, D&V Travel is ready to assist you in experiencing all this.
