20 05 2007 - ITALIAN AMBASSADOR CONGRATULATES ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER

Armenian Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan received today newly appointed ambassador of Italy to Armenia Masimo Lavetso Kasinely. The prime minister rendered his hope that the ambassador will contribute to further development of Armenian-Italian relations like his predecessor, Marco Clemente, government press services report.

The ambassador assured he will put every effort to strengthen Armenian-Italian relations in political, economic and all other prospective fields. Kasinely underscored partnership within EU European Neighborhood Program.

The ambassador congratulated the prime minister for conducting parliamentary elections largely in compliance with international norms and international commitments and for impressive victory of the Armenian Republican Party.
